Ways to support SPI 🙂

Host a Seed Packing Event

Support Seed Programs International by hosting a seed packing event to fundraise for an SPI program. Seed Packing Events are excellent for community clubs, faith-based organizations, corporations, and educational institutions. SPI will provide you with seed, seed packets, event organization support, information about our programs, and connection to a recipient organization. Your organization then hosts the event, packages the seed, and sends the seed to the recipient organization. If requested, SPI can create a social media post to celebrate the event and will provide event participants with a program update about the program their raised funds helped support.

Email getinvolved@seedprograms.org for more information.

Attend an SPI Event

SPI hosts events throughout the year. If you have an idea for an event, please contact us at getinvolved@seedprograms.orgCheck out our next event below:

Poetry for School Gardens

Join us for a free online event on September 23 from 4 – 5:30 pm EST

Listen to original poetry and learn about our zero hunger initiatives. We are partnering with Poetry X Hunger and Sustainable Communities Initiative for Empowerment (SCINE) for this Hunger Action Day event. Donations are not required, but are appreciated and will be used to create a school garden in a Kampala slum community.

Contact us at getinvolved@seedprograms.org if you have any questions.

Workplace Giving

Does your workplace provide matching funds through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC)? The CFC is an official workplace giving campaign for federal employees and retirees and can be found here: https://givecfc.org/. Seed Programs International is a member of the CFC! You can find SPI by using our CFC code: 12423.

SPI also has accounts with Benevity, YourCause, and CyberGrants to enhance workplace giving. Search for us by name, Seed Programs International, or by charity registration ID EIN, 56-2092576. Don’t forget to check with your employer to see if they will match your donation.
