Make Your Service Go Beyond Packaging
Do you have a community garden, educational or school garden, or seed library close to where you live? We would love to partner with them! You can take some of the seed to donate to them or you can put us in contact with them. We are always on the look-out for new partners in the US!
Are you interested in starting a gardening program? We can help support your journey! We wrote a manual about starting a garden club that can be found here or on our Learning Center page. Get in touch with us at getinvolved@seedprograms.org!
Some ideas include:
- Create a seed library in your community with the seed packets to spread the joy of gardening.
- Engage organizations in your community: Schools, Libraries, Senior Communities, Scout Groups, 4-H, Future Farmers of America. They might be interested in receiving seeds for gardening activities.
- Grow food in your own garden and donate some of it to your local food pantry. Check out Ample Harvest for possible donation centers.
Growing food is a hands-on, grounding experience that connects us to nature and allows us to celebrate and share our harvest. Inviting others in our community to take part in this process fosters strong, healthy, and thriving communities.
